‘Painting on Statues and Engaging History: Indigenous Peoples and the Future of Canada’ examines the toppling and vandalism of key Canadian statues, explores themes of Canadian identity, governance, Reconciliation, and the legacy of residential schools through personal philosophy, story, song, and memory. It is presented by the Department of Anthropology at Saint Mary’s University.
