NSCAD Craft students will share their experiences of Art Schools Collaborative held at the world renowned Haystack Mountain School of Craft in Deer Isle, Maine. The annual symposium welcomed senior students and faculty from a dozen North American art and design universities to participate in hands-on workshops and dialogue with a diverse range of invited speakers in September 2019. This is a chance for craft students to learn about the annual opportunity and to meet the six NSCAD students that attended the recent 4-day conference.

SHOW & TELL, A Performance Series

Thursday, November 28th at 6-10 p.m.

Show & Tell showcases performance artists who are engaging with concepts of stewardship within communities through a variety of practices including intermedia/video works, participatory actions, printed matter/ephemera, spoken work and more. Over the course of this interactive evening event, audience members will have the chance to consider how stewardship calls attention to the ways in which mutual responsibilities are vital to preserving and nourishing our communities and their activism. How might we consider the ways we steward spaces and actions in order to address our environmental, social and political concerns together?

This event is free to the public. There will be bar service, and all are welcome to attend.
