NSCAD alumni creates online marketplace to help local artists, crafters and makers

A big thank you goes to NSCAD alumni Peter Eastwood (BFA 1997) and his wife Sarah Eastwood for launching novascotiamakers.ca, a new online marketplace to help Nova Scotia artists, crafters and makers sell their creations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Peter and Sarah are local potters and creative entrepreneurs, and are well-connected with the provincial creative scene. By developing novascotiamakers.ca, they’re giving local artisans the ability to create their own store to sell their products online in a virtual marketplace.

The website is an easy-to-access platform with no sign-up or monthly fees, simplifying the onboarding process for artists and creators.
