Description
The world of letterpress is booming! Unlike other antiquated technologies, letterpress is seeing a resurgence and has become an explosive art force of the 21st century. In this introductory course, you will be introduced to type setting by hand, locking up plates, using a Vandercook press, printing paper abilities, and ink modification in the printing process. Class takes place in the historic Dawson Printshop, where the Letterpress Gang also meet on Monday nights.
