NEW! Large-Scale Watercolour Painting

Description

This class will focus on the technical challenges involved in painting large-scale using watercolour paint. Students will learn to work with watercolour paint, learn methods of painting from photos and drawings, and from imagination to create abstract and/or representational works. We will look at colour and meaning. There will be group discussions of their work. We will also look at examples of work from prominent historic and contemporary artists. Some materials are required, email make@nscad.ca for more details. Prerequisite: an Introduction to Watercolour course is recommended.
