Introduction to Acrylic Painting

Description

This introductory course will introduce students to the world of painting using acrylic paint. The course will cover tonal painting and blending, colour theory and mixing, composition, paint handling, characteristics of acrylic paint and mediums, lighting, as well as content and narrative, which students will have the opportunity to practice through studies and larger projects.

This course is hosted online. As such, students are required to have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access during class time. Access to a web camera and microphone is strongly recommended. Additional materials required.
