Description
Intro to Photoshop is a hands on technical course, centered around digital image creation and manipulation on Adobes CC Photoshop. Completing a series of hands on, individual assignments and exercises, students will experience the software, and gain practical as well as theoretical experience. The basics of editing, finishing, converting and publishing digital images will be introduced, as well as more advanced tools, such as layers, painting tools, and effects. Tuition includes 10 weeks of access outside of class for homework during times scheduled in cooperation with Multimedia staff. Bring a CD-R or USB Flash Drive, notebook and pen to first class. Prerequisite: Must be familiar with Macintosh OSX operating system. Class limit is 11. This course qualifies as part of the Certificate in Digital Media.
