Description
This course introduces the foundation of painting with watercolour. Some of the unique qualities of watercolour painting include vibrant colours, transparency effects, and immediacy. This studio class will give instruction, demonstrations and critiques in colour design, light and value studies, and fundamental techniques, as students work from subjects such as still life, landscape, abstraction, and imagination. The novice painter will be encouraged and the experienced painter will be challenged. Watercolour paper will be supplied. Class limit is 15.
