From prehistory to modern times, animals have been captivating and inspiring artistic minds. This introductory drawing course will help you hone your artistic skills by focussing on animals. With discussions on the core elements of art (value, form, line, etc.), paring down complex form into simplified shapes, texture and details, all these skills will help you create more realistic animals. Please bring a range of pencils, vine and compressed charcoal, charcoal pencils, a 9’’x12’’ sketchbook, white eraser and kneaded eraser to the first class.
